How did your interest in craft beer begin?
As a stereotypical partier my first year in college, I leaned more towards liquor because I hated American light lager. I got my hands on some Guinness, and that led me to grabbing any and every curious-looking beer in the bottle shop. It was a lot of Dogfish Head, Troegs, and Magic Hat.
What are your favorite and least favorite beer styles?
It’s very seasonal-dependent for me. I can find something I like in just about every single beer style. Russian Imperial Stout, Belgian Dubbel, Doppelbock, and a well-done Pilsner lead the pack for me. I personally think Brut IPA is a failed experiment.
If you could only drink three beers for the rest of your life what would they be?
- Neshaminy Creek – Leon Russian Imperial Stout
- Dogfish Head – 61 Minute IPA
- Victory – Sour Monkey
Tell us about one of your favorite craft beer Instagram accounts.
If I have to choose one, it would be @hoppy_face! She’s the first person I saw pull off the makeup/beer duo. And I know she puts so much time into perfecting that specific niche!
Tell us about your favorite drinking buddy.
This has fluctuated a bit. Currently my favorite drinking buddy, Dylan, is very bad at games and I don’t remember the last time he beat me in cornhole. He’s not necessarily a craft beer guy, but always willing to check breweries with me.
