How did your interest in craft beer begin?
My dad is a big beer drinker and used to home brew when I was very young. He would always give me sips of his beers here and there when I was young and that started my love of beer. The minute I turned 21 he took me to my first craft brewery, and after that I was hooked.
What are your favorite and least favorite beer styles?
I love my hops! Anything hoppy and I will drink it! So definitely IPA’s and Pale Ales! Least favorite Stouts and Porters. They are way too rich for me!
If you could only drink three beers for the rest of your life what would they be?
Wow, only picking three is tough! I would have to say Resolute Brewing Standing Room Only IPA, Melvin IPA, and Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA.
Tell us about one of your favorite craft beer Instagram accounts.
Picking one is so hard; there are so many accounts that are special to me in so many different ways. I would have to say if we are talking about a craft beer company it would definitely be @craftgraphics.beer. I came across this company during quarantine and I fell in love with one of their designs for a shirt (Lock Down Drink Up). The minute I was able to purchase one I did, and then ever since I have enjoyed all their new merchandise and being able to share me rocking it all the way in Colorado. If I had to pick a craft brewery it would be @peakviewbrewco, an amazing small military owner craft brewery in Greenwood Village, CO!
Tell us about your favorite drinking buddy.
I would have to say she’s my best friend, Stephanie. She is always down to grab a beer on a day off and you know the minute I tell her about a new brewery or that one of our favorite breweries have a new beer she will be there with me that day! Not to mention she is my GABF partner every year! Love her!
Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself.
- I was adopted as an infant from an orphanage in a small South American country.
- I was the only girl on a youth ice hockey team when I was a kid.
- I have visited every brewery in the Front Range of Colorado.
