How did your interest in craft beer begin?
My interest in craft beer definitely came from being behind the bar and feeling that excitement when brewers and reps would come from local breweries to share what was new! It is also a shared hobby with my dad, which makes it that much more fun!
What are your favorite and least favorite beer styles?
My favorite styles are definitely Hazy IPAs, I love those that have nice juicy feels and tropical hops. I love a good Amber ale and of course a great Sour. I would have to say my least favorite at the moment are Imperial Stouts. Maybe come colder weather I’ll change my mind, but I live in Florida, so who knows when that’ll be!
If you could only drink three beers for the rest of your life what would they be?
Ooh my gosh this is a tough one. I would have to say Coastal Empire (GA) Praline Amber, Ironhill Brewery (SC) Juice Box IPA, and Tripping Animals Brewing (FL) Showtime Sour. That list could’ve definitely been a lot longer!
Tell us about one of your favorite craft beer Instagram accounts.
Oh man, I have so many! Am I allowed to just list all of the amazing friends I’ve met? Because they all have great accounts! I would say one of my favorites is probably Tanya/@Babels_Cameron. The way she coordinates every outfit, shoe, decoration to the can, I just swoon every time. I love all of her witty captions, she’s incredibly smart and knowledgeable about beer, and is overall a big inspiration to me!
Tell us about your favorite drinking buddy.
My best beer buddy has to be my best friend, Brie @the_pintsized_traveler. I never thought that Instagram and beer would lead me to someone who would become so important to me, but here we are! She is so smart, driven, and such an incredible friend. We also known to throw down when we’re together, so it’s always a party with us!
