How did you interest in Craft Beer begin?

Like many of us it was just staying open minded and curious. I really dove into the scene when I started working at Pinthouse in Austin, Tx. I was trying so many new great beers that I immediately knew that I was in the right scene and never left.

What are your favorite and least favorite styles?

My favorite style of beer has to be a pilsner! I love how it’s always perceived as simple and yet it’s the best way to test out a new brewery. If their pilsner is good then chances are the rest of their beers are great as well. My least favorite is a milkshake ipa because I feel like the mouthfeel can be achieved without adding lactose but further, they always leave me underwhelmed.

If you could only drink three beers for the rest of your life what would they be?

I would drink Rocket 100 from @theabgb a pre-prohibition style pilsner it’s my favorite beer, Electric Jellyfish from @pinthousepizzalamar it’s the craft beer that got me hooked on craft beer, Split to Hvar from @nomadicbeerworks was the first time that a red ale changed my mind about the whole style!

Tell us about one of your favorite craft beer Instagram accounts.

I honestly could not pick one! I would love too! The craft beer community is so supportive of each other and it absolutely feels like a community. It still has room to grow and encourage diversity through our voices and platforms.

Tell us about your favorite drinking buddy.

My favorite drinking buddy would have to be @papi.chulo.of.craft. He is a loyal and caring friend!! He is always down to meet up for a beer and makes me laugh harder than anyone I know!

Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself.

  • I love to dance
  • I love to hug
  • I always say no to one more beer
